JIM LERONOWICH SAYS FAREWELL TO “CANADA’S COUNTRY GENTLEMAN”, TOMMY HUNTER

Our very own Jim Leronowich, self-proclaimed “#1 Biggest Fan” of the legendary Tommy Hunter, was personally invited to attend the final concert of Tommy’s farewell tour in Ontario in March of this year. Tommy Hunter wanted to share his appreciation for Jim’s ongoing support throughout his career by offering him an all expenses paid trip to the concert! So Jim jumped on a plane to celebrate the live music of his idol, one last time.

The final cross Canada tour gave fans an opportunity to enjoy in concert, songs such as "You Are My Sunshine", "I'll Fly Away", "Amazing Grace", "Man of 87", "King of The Road", "Daisy A Day" and of course his signature song, "Travelin' Man".

Jim has been a fan of Tommy Hunter for many, many years and has attended countless shows and events, and fondly remembers his television show. His favourite song is “Welcome to my World.” Tommy knows Jim as being one of his biggest supporters, and wanted to make sure that Jim was there for his last concert.

It was a great experience for Jim, and he says that, even though he doesn’t know what Tommy’s plans are for his retirement, he hopes it’s good.
