Support Options

We believe it is important to have support in all stages of
life no matter what your challenge.

We encourage and support people to become active, contributing members of the community -- and that starts at home. There are 17 households in Winnipeg, provided by Winnserv, that people call home. Within these households you will find group living arrangements with up to four people sharing a home, in collaboration with a staff team. You will also discover individualized home-based day support for those who are retired or semi-retired.

As part of our Community Support Program, we also help people living on their own to enjoy full and active lives. Those living on their own can access from two to 20 hours of support from Winnserv. A Community Support Worker helps each person in areas such as money, budgeting, shopping and home skill management. There are a handful of people who live close to each other making it practical and beneficial to share support services as needed.

Our support services and housing are also available to people who have both an intellectual disability and dementia. We try our best to meet the needs of the all people who use our services including the provision of wheelchair accessible housing.

Knowledgeable friendly staff can assist you or the person you care about, with their social, personal and physical care needs. We are committed to supporting everyone through all stages of life in making their home a home until their final days.
