We are currently hiring for Residential Support Workers and Residential Supervisors

Residential Support Workers – This position primarily consists of evening and weekend hours, providing supports to adults with an intellectual disability within a group living household. The primary focus is on helping people to build relationships, actively participate in their communities and to lead lives that they find meaningful. Candidates must have effective verbal and written communication skills, First Aid and a strong belief in community inclusion.

Community Support Worker – This position entails providing individualized supports to adults who are living independently in the community. The supports offered range from assistance with budgeting and grocery shopping to home maintenance, medical appointments and facilitating community connections. Each C.S.W. works with several individuals and will need to travel in the city as a part of their position. Must have a strong belief in community inclusion, access to a vehicle and excellent organizational and communication skills.

Program Coordinators – Responsible for the overall supervision and direction of certain aspects of the organization including a number of the group living arrangements and/or the Community Support Program. This person reports directly to the Executive Director and works with residential teams to ensure the supports being offered to people are congruent with mission and values of Winnserv Inc. and that employees have the information and training they require. Program Coordinators must have experience with supporting individuals with an intellectual disability, supervisory experience and an understanding of program direction and planning. Must have a strong belief and working knowledge of community inclusion, access to a vehicle and excellent organizational and communication skills.

Residential Supervisors
– The residential supervisor is responsible for providing direct support to the individuals in the home and is accountable for the day-to-day operation of the household and the direct supervision and training of staff. The position requires experience in providing supports to people with an intellectual disability, some supervisory experience and a strong belief in inclusive communities. The hours are Monday to Friday, early afternoon and evening and each supervisor is required to be “on call” for one week at a time.
